Job Description Job Description Supervises: None Annual
Compensation : $48,000 – $55,000 (commensurate with skills and
experience), plus our Standard Benefits Package. FLSA Status: Full
Time-Exempt Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Assists in the
research and writing of new grant proposals to secure ongoing or
new funding for department initiatives, assists to track program
deliverables for funders, budget, and grant reporting and writing.
Assist clients with the preparation of immigration applications,
liaise with relevant government agencies, analyze, review, and
organize documents and data, coordinate document production,
maintain client’s contact, and conduct ongoing case tracking and
management. Cultivates relationships with local schools, local
parishes and community centers, law enforcement, and other
non-profits to enhance service delivery and referral networks .
Organizes immigration presentations like "Know Your Rights"
sessions and citizenship workshops at local parishes and community
centers . Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree is required. (Human
Services or a related field) from an accredited college or
university. • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
required. • An understanding of and accommodation for the diverse
academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of
special needs of the learners. • Demonstrated multicultural
sensitivity. • Effective planning, organizational communication,
and interpersonal skills. • Strong intercultural communication
skills demonstrating the ability to work effectively with people
from other cultural backgrounds. • Computer skills required include
Microsoft Office Suite and email (Outlook preferred). • Excellent
written and verbal skills. Conditions Of Employment: • Have a valid
driver’s license with a clean driving record. • If your position
requires you to transport clients, staff members, or volunteers
with your personal vehicle as needed, it is required that you have
a reliable vehicle with personal vehicle liability insurance •
Successful completion of federal and state background checks. •
Successful completion of child welfare screening. • Successful
completion of drug and Mantoux (TB) screens. • Comply with the
