Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization located in the Mundelein, IL area and they are looking to add a Production Manager to their established company. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. You will be responsible for all aspects of the production planning efforts for the site. Works closely with the Master Schedulers to manage capacity and identify constraints. Support Lean manufacturing and focus on continuous improvement efforts.
As our ideal candidate, you will have 5+ years of supervisory experience in Production, Inventory, or Production Scheduling/Planning. Must have medical device industry experience: Blow Fill, Sterile Water, or Aseptic environment. Understanding of FDA and ISO 13485 requirements for manufacturing. Responsibilities:

• Optimize production planning throughout the site to include raw materials, WIP, and subassemblies to meet Supply Chain KPIs.
• Drive Lean manufacturing principles at the site.
• Ensure proper production planning activities are adhered to in Manufacturing Lead-times and Bill of Routings.
• Build out, develop, and manage a small production team.
• Optimize efficiency and organization on the production team.
• Problem-solve and address production obstacles.
• Utilize analytics and reasoning to address production hurdles.
• Develop processes and SOPs to manage complex issues with consistency and standardization.
• Effectively implement production strategies for improved financial performance and to drive profitable growth.
  Experience:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of supervisory experience in Production, Inventory, or Production Scheduling/Planning.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Understanding of FDA and ISO 13485 requirements for manufacturing.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
    Education:
    • Bachelors Degree in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain.
      Industry:
      • Medical industry experience: Blow Fill, Sterile Water, or Aseptic environment.
