• The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will be responsible for hands on manual and automated testing including system integration, database validation, regression, and end to end testing of moderate to complex web-based SaaS applications.
• A successful candidate must be a self-starter, fast learner and part of the cross-functional Agile Scrum software development team.
• This person is a strong technology professional and test automation developer with significant experience in the healthcare marketing industry.
• The position will work with distributed business and technical resources to analyze problems encountered during testing and determining changes required to resolve or mitigate the risk of those issues.
• Essential Job Functions:
• Ensure that all deliverables meet quality objectives in functionality, performance, stability, security, accessibility and data quality
• Create testing-related documentation including test strategy, test plans, test cases/scripts, and defect reports assessing quality and associated risk Participate actively in functional, system, integration and regression testing activities (manual and automated) within project timelines
• Work with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Software Developers and other QA Engineers in an Agile team environment
• Actively participate in design/technical reviews to identify missing, incomplete or inaccurate design assumptions or choicesQualifications:

    • BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience 4+ years of relevant hands on manual and automated testing experience in Web and SaaS applications
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum SDLC Proficiency in at least one programming language Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
    • Proficiency creating, analyzing and executing complex DB queries Experience working with CI tools (Jenkins, Hudson) Experience working with build tools (Maven, Gradle)
    • Deep analytical skills with ability to display methods of testing highly sophisticated systems Experience building API, UI and data processing automation against large scale features/applications Experience with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP)
    • Hands on experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus Experience with Typescript is a plus Experience using Cypress.io is a plus
    • Experience with data transformation is a plus Understanding of Pharmaceutical digital marketing industry is preferred Worker Type Agency Temp Workplace Profile Home-based Is this position billable
