distribution. In this position, you will report to the Sr. Manager
In this role you will lead the Chicago Transport & Logistics office
for both international and domestic shipments. For S&C to
successfully grow over the coming years, expansion and improvement
of our shipping, logistics, & transport processes will be paramount
to our success. You will be responsible for overseeing the results
of the team, improving process control, and bringing S&C's
shipping and logistics systems up to par with industry best
practices. The work environment is fast paced and will require the

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited
to, the following:
--- Developing and implementing strategic plans for improving
S&C's logistics, transport, and shipping processes in
conjunction with S&C's 5-year growth plan.
--- Creating and managing projects to execute these strategic
--- Organizing data, analyzing available information, and making
complex decisions that affect both short- and long-term
--- Developing and implementing processes to improve quality,
delivery, productivity and assure safe performance of all functions
in the department.
--- Collaborate with other leaders and team members to coordinate
operations and activities within or between departments.
--- Developing and monitoring expense budgets, managing processes,
and initiating departmental hiring, training, and skill development
--- Regular presentations concerning the status of projects,
metrics, and ongoing initiatives
To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you
must have the following:
--- Four-year bachelor's degree required in engineering, supply
chain, logistics, operations, or other related business fields
--- 5-10 years' experience working in manufacturing, warehousing,
supply chain or another related field.
--- 3+ year leadership experience.
--- Oracle ERP knowledge or similar experience.
--- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
--- Prior experience leading initiatives in a manufacturing
--- Hands on work style and strong ability to educate, train,
coach, mentor, and empower team members throughout the
--- Proven team building and change management skills required
--- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
--- Technical aptitude and knowledge of processes and
--- Experience in Power BI or other similar data analysis tools are
--- Proficiency in all relevant PC applications.
