Join us!The People Specialist is responsible for managing a variety of human resources functions, including HRIS implementation, recruiting & onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.ResponsibilitiesHRIS Implementation and Configuration:

Support the implementation of HRIS HR technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and HR processesConfigure system settings, workflows, and user access based on organizational needs and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and HR, to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation processIdentify opportunities for integration such as payroll, time and attendance, and benefits administrationSupport integration strategies to streamline data flow and improve overall HR process efficiencyContinuously monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvementRecruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talentCoordinate job postings, application screening, and interviews in collaboration with hiring managersConduct reference checks and support the employment offer processSupport the onboarding process tasksBenefits Administration:
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other applicable benefitsEnsure timely and accurate enrollment of employees in benefits programsAssist with benefits orientation for new employees and support the annual open enrollment processPerformance Management:
Support the implementation and management of performance evaluation processes and ensure regular feedback between employees and supervisorsSupport the delivery of training and development programs for employeesCompliance and Record-KeepingEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information systemAssist with the preparation and submission of required reports and documentation to relevant government agenciesOther HR Duties:
Support the development and implementation of HR policies and proceduresParticipate in HR-related projects and initiatives as neededStay current with industry trends and best practices, and recommend changes to improve HR processesRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field3-5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on HR generalist functionsKnowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systemsProfessional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferredPowered by JazzHR
