As a member
of the legal team reporting to the Associate General Counsel,
E&A and Digital Center of Excellence, provides legal support on
technology, software, data & information security matters for UL’s
Enterprise & Advisory (E&A) business segment, Chief Digital
Officer, Chief Information Officer as well as other corporate
functions and businesses. Acts as a trusted legal advisor and
provides legal counseling and advice on matters of significant
legal impact to the company.
analyzes and advises on technology, software, data & information
security legal issues affecting and applicable to the E&A
business segment, Chief Digital Officer and Chief Information
- Reviews, drafts
and negotiates inbound and outbound technology development,
software license, SaaS and other cloud-based services, data
acquisition, use and distribution, content, and other
terms and conditions for sales and license agreements with a
particular focus on SaaS and other cloud-based

co-location, cloud and web service agreements to ensure UL is
receiving state-of-the art service at the appropriate levels while

and/or data privacy policies and procedures and/or conducting
privacy risk assessments and audits
of laws and regulations relating to information security and data
business experience strongly preferred
