Who You Are
A Real Estate Mortgage Loan Officer originates mortgage loans
within our geographical territory. You'll take applications,
conduct preliminary underwriting reviews, and submit loan
applications to processing and underwriting for approval. You'll
also conduct follows-up with your clients to ensure that the
documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing are
secured in a timely manner from appropriate sources.
This position requires an understanding of the real estate
transaction process as well as an ability to build strong
relationships with stakeholders. Real Estate Loan Officers are
self-motivated, analytical, and results oriented. Financial and
research skills are also important.
In this role, you will...
- Receive customer applications, quote the rate, and complete
- Continuously pursue our training offerings to increase
knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of local, state and national
financial laws and regulations.
- Show excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain an ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a
deadline-driven environment with a strong sense of urgency and
- Have intermediate math skills.
