We are constantly researching and developing new forms and formulations of cannabinoid-based treatments to improve people's well-being.Job DescriptionThe Dispensary Operations Supervisor Reports to the Dispensary Operations Manager and is responsible for the day to day operation and oversight of internal audits, cash management, and overall regulatory compliance of the dispensary. This role assists their manager in ensuring all employees of the dispensary remain compliant within their functions and assists in training to accurate cash processes, maintaining menu integrity, and security protocols are maintained.Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions):Works with cross functioning associates while leading by example to increase efficiency, accuracy, and product knowledgePerform internal audits designed to evaluate risk and test internal controls, as well as assisting their manager in identifying opportunities for best practices and more efficient operational processes. (e.g safety and security, facilities, cash, technical, inventory, and other areas as assigned)Conducts interviews and store walkthroughs, performing analysis to identify key business risks and controlsUpholds company standards for merchandise and presentation and ensures menu availability is currentAssist in the supervision of the On-Site Security team to ensure acceptable standards are maintained for the overall safety and upkeep of the dispensaryComply and audit cash procedures as it pertained to preparing deposits and daily cash reconciliation.Ensures state and regulatory audit complianceActive participant in the recruitment, interview and hire process of filling open positions in a timely manner based on store performance and volumeTrain employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP's, compliance audits, company and state policy and proceduresSet up a training calendar and ensure associate onboarding and new hire training completionManage continuous training and development with team members through training curriculums that provide consistency across all storesMake recommendations and deliver team members' performance appraisals in partnership with management; collaborate on team member' performance management, succession planning, development of members strengths and improvement of weaknessesCoach team members on performance, attendance, violation of company and compliance policies in partnership with management and HRProvide leadership, training, guidance and support to team members that fosters continuous learning and improvement in performance of the storeThis role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of the operation including but not limited to: call center, sales consulting, outreach, security and visual merchandisingProjects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and communityEmbodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectivesQualificationsMinimum 21 years of ageMinimum 2 years retail experience in a fast paced, high volume environmentBack of house inventory experience preferredMust possess strong analytical skills to assess data, facts and figuresPrevious supervisory experience preferred.Intermediate-level math skills.Strong Computer based skillsSense of urgencyDetail-orientedCommunication proficiencyEthical conductPersonal effectiveness/credibilityLeadership skillsHigh level of integrityValid driver's license and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record background checkWorking conditionsThis job operates in a professional store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. This position requires weekends, nights, overtime as needed, holidays and open work availability. May require minimal travel. May be required to work outdoors and/or during inclement weather.Physical requirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
