The Village of Arlington Heights a northwest suburb of Chicago,

Coordinator at the Senior Center, a division of the Health & Human
This position is responsible for all aspects of researching,
planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating programs and
events for the Senior Center. This position involves interacting
with other Village staff, internal agencies and external
organizations to provide high quality services to older adults of
Responsibilities include but are not limited to creating
materials to promote programs and events that emulate a positive
image of aging. Marketing material may include bi-monthly
newsletters, flyers, monthly reports, press releases and social
media postings. Knowledge of programs and services relating to
senior services and skill in writing reports preferred. Good
knowledge of social media and Microsoft Office programs. Minimum
requirements include a Bachelor of Science degree in Human
Services, Social Services, or related field and two years of
related experience or an equivalent combination of education and
experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties
of the job.
Starting salary for this position is $78,902 and includes a
diverse and competitive benefits package. May need to work evenings
and/or weekends on occasion.
