Associate Global Product Manager, Advanced Surgery

Position Summary:

The Associate Global Product Manager will support the marketing lead in the creation of the overall commercial strategy and execution of existing products within Advanced Surgery Business Portfolio. This includes, product lifecycles, pricing strategies, KOL strategies, portfolio optimization and the overall financial health of the product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Associate Global Product Manager will partner closely with their cross-functional team and marketing leader to participate in developing the following:

  • Supporting basic market research activities including field sales & customer interviews/surveys to determine optimal channels for marketing initiatives & promotions
  • Support portfolio strategy including the product roadmap and lifecycle management
  • Support market development strategy and identification of key adoption barriers
  • Understand competitive landscape and determine game theory strategies to maximize market share
  • Assist in qualitative analysis, market segmentation, and pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with R&D, Clinical, Market Access, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Regional Marketing
  • Partner with sales training to Identify new sales-facing tools or programs that can streamline processes to accelerate revenue-generating opportunities
  • Support the assessment of defining new product development needs versus unmet market opportunities
  • Conduct launch success tracking and KPIs
  • Support omni-channel strategy by developing, executing and tracking digital campaigns to further enhance success rates with marketing initiatives

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Marketing, Marketing Operations, Sales or an advertising agency, preferably in healthcare/medical devices and/or software preferred
  • Experience in developing or launching new products, services and programs is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Positive attitude with a relentless drive for optimal results
  • Collaborator with ability to bring team members and key stakeholders together to reach a common goal
  • Strength in numbers and analytical aptitude
  • Can-do approach to all challenges, big and small, and effective in use of time and organizational resources
  • Objective and fact-based in all aspects of decision-making
  • Strong results orientation and analytical skills.
  • Customer facing experience with surgeons preferred.
  • Ability to travel about 30%
