Job Description Job Description Associate Attorney – Foreclosure
& Title Law (Illinois, Hybrid/Remote) Join a focused team at a
multi-state law firm and gain hands-on courtroom experience while
mastering real property title law. This is a unique opportunity to
work on residential foreclosure and title matters, build expertise
with business entity clients, and ensure regulatory compliance. The
position reports directly to firm leadership and offers a
collaborative, supportive team environment. After a proven record
of reliability, remote/work-from-home arrangements can be
considered. Important: Candidates must have 2-5 years of
Foreclosure Default Servicing experience in residential matters.
Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with court personnel,
business clients, and opposing parties Draft and review pleadings,
notices, and motions Appear in court (remote and in-person as
required) Perform title tract searches and resolve post-foreclosure
title issues Collaborate with staff, title companies, and opposing
counsel on title curative matters Conduct thorough legal research
Contribute articles for publication (as experience allows) What
We’re Looking For: Required : Admitted to practice law in Illinois
Required : 2-5 years of Foreclosure Default Servicing experience
Positive, adaptable attorney with strong communication and
organizational skills Ability to manage court hearings, multitask,
and handle time-sensitive matters Strong document review skills
Aptitude for learning real property title matters and regulatory
rules Ability to creatively apply title curative techniques Strong
ability to deal with opposing counsel and defendants in a positive
manner Collaborative team player who can also work independently
Ability to work and think on your feet and under pressure What’s in
