and personally. Who You’ll Work With As the Product Owner on the
Commercial Operations team, you will play an essential role in
supporting the evolution of Bain’s Salesforce platform as it serves
our global frontline and commercial leaders. What You’ll Do As a
Product Owner, you will work closely with the Product Manager to
help translate business needs into system enhancements, refine user
stories, and ensure high-quality delivery through collaboration
with business stakeholders, solution architects, and IT teams. This
is a hands-on, execution-oriented role ideal for someone with a
passion for digital tools, process improvement, and stakeholder
engagement. Product Delivery and Backlog Grooming – 50% Support the
Product Manager in translating the product vision and roadmap into
actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Analyze business
requirements associated to emerging business needs & use
prioritization techniques to determine which features or products
would meet those demands Maintain and refine the backlog with the
support of the Product Analyst, ensuring stories are
well-documented, prioritized, and aligned with business needs.
Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm new features
deliver on business needs and are ready for launch Participate in
Sprint Reviews and prepare documentation to communicate updates and
key learnings. Stakeholder Engagement and Business Analysis - 50%
Collaborate with Product Analysts and Training teams to develop
user guides, communications, and learning materials for new
functionality. Work with end users and business teams to understand
requirements, document use cases, and identify opportunities for
process improvements. Help facilitate workshops and requirements
sessions to capture and clarify business needs.Partner with the
Commercial Operations and Technology Services Group (IT) teams to
ensure enhancements align with overall commercial goals. Support
efforts to improve reporting and user experience through Salesforce
dashboards and embedded Tableau views. About You Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or
a related field and/or related experience; Master’s degree or MBA
preferred Four or more years of work experience in the capacity of
a Product Owner Basic familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud or
other CRM platforms Exposure to multiple Salesforce Sales Cloud
implementations, if from a consulting background. Exposure to Agile
delivery processes and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Aha!, or
similar). Applicants must have strong analytical, communication and
problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated ability to envision
the functional solution Author functional requirements (user
stories) and related Acceptance criteria as part of the Agile
Sprint development process Be able to disposition triaged issues
logged by stakeholders and support staff, in collaboration with the
solution architect, and create a backlog for the development team
Exposure to Agile delivery processes and collaboration tools (e.g.,
JIRA, Aha!, or similar). Able to manage multiple tasks and
timelines in a fast-paced environment. = Preferred: Salesforce
System Administrator Certification Salesforce Sales Cloud
Certification Experience supporting UAT, training, or user
enablement activities U.S. Compensation Information Compensation
for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary
performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution
based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package
(details listed below). Some local governments in the United States
require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job
postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for
this role is as follows: In Chicago, IL, the good-faith, reasonable
annualized full-time base salary range for this role is between
$119,000-143,000; placement within this range will vary based on
several factors including, but not limited to, experience,
education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level In
Boston, MA, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time base
salary range for this role is between $124,000-149,500; placement
within this range will vary based on several factors including, but
not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications,
training and skill level For all other locations, the good-faith,
reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is
commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role
and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited
to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and
skill level Annual discretionary performance bonus This role may
also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of
