Infrastructure Operations Manager 33674 Role type: Permanent hire (also seeking an interim contractor) Location: Chicago Northern Suburbs Compensation: Mid to High 6-figure salary SUMMARY Manages the technical infrastructure, organization and processes to ensure that they meet the long- and short-term requirements of the business. Develops the skills and capabilities of the infrastructure technology development and support organization, effectively utilizing service providers and employees to provide a level of quality service to the business. Management responsibility over: Systems / Network Analysts, Administrators and Supervisors Help Desk Supervisors Infrastructure and SaaS Suppliers IT Infrastructure Suppliers Specification Responsibilities Provides 24x7 support and resolution to problems and questions for the entire IT infrastructure environment, including but not necessarily limited to: -a multi-platform, multi-site processing environments -Data and telecommunication systems -LAN and WAN hardware and software -Database and file management software -Security software and hardware -Email and collaboration solutions -data and telecommunications software and hardware Manages an IT infrastructure maintenance and development team of employees and service providers Manages the relationships with suppliers and providers of hardware, system software, telecommunications, Value-Added-Networks (VANs) for related applications, Internet service providers (ISPs) and data center or computing and storage hosting services. Works on establishing and enforcing Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Develops infrastructure related plans and budgets.
