Job Description Job Description Summary: An industry leading manufacturer of heavy fabrications for the construction, agriculture, mining and rail industries is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team. This position reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for: • Conducting in-process and final inspections of welds both visually and using inspection tools. • Identifying weld defects and other nonconformances to drawings, standards and specifications. • Interpreting technical drawings and weld symbols. • Qualifying welders and maintaining certifications. • Documenting inspection results and initiating corrective actions. Job Requirements: • Must have current CWI Certification • 3 years of experience in a heavy fabrication environment • NDT experience a plus • Must be a hands-on, highly motivated self-starter requiring minimal supervision • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Efficient time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively • High school diploma or equivalent required Job Type: • Full-time position with benefits.
