Job Description Job Description Job Title: Operations Lead Location: Chicago, IL (In-office; hybrid possible after 6 months) Start Date: Immediate Work Location: In-person, Chicago Wicker Park About the Role: We are seeking an Operations Lead to manage day-to-day operations and support company growth in new U.S. markets. This hands-on leadership role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive professional with strong analytical skills. You will oversee operational execution, coordinate across teams and clients, and optimize processes to ensure efficiency and excellence . Key Responsibilities: · Team Leadership: Manage Operations Manager and Team Coordinator/Project Manager. · Operational Oversight : Improve workflows, remove bottlenecks, and ensure smooth execution from scheduling to delivery. · Execution & Accountability: Set priorities, track job status, support team growth, and ensure follow-through. · Systems & Process Improvement: Build scalable systems for scheduling, quoting, documentation, and job tracking. · Client & Delivery Excellence : Oversee scheduling, client coordination, and project delivery to ensure consistency and satisfaction. Requirements: · 3 years in operations, logistics, field coordination, or project-based service delivery. · 2 years of experience managing people and coordinating tasks across multiple moving parts · Experience valued in this order: AEC, logistical planning, systems-based software (Zapier/API). · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. · Strong organizational, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. · Intermediate Excel proficiency; comfortable learning new software tools. · Familiarity with scheduling software, CRMs, or project tracking tools. · In-office availability Monday-Friday, core hours 8 AM-6 PM. · No felony convictions or misdemeanors related to theft, dishonesty, or violence. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with AEC/BIM workflows. · Coordination of multi-city or remote teams. · SOP and process improvement experience in growing businesses. · Familiarity with reality capture tools (Matterport, LiDAR, drones). · Experience managing both field and office operations. · Entrepreneurial mindset with experience scaling small businesses.
