Enterprise Learning is responsible for building new capabilities
critical to our firm's strategy at speed and scale, ensuring our
50,000 home-office associates and branch team members are reskilled
and upskilled to deliver industry-leading Human-Centered Complete
Wealth Management. The Learning Experience Designer III is
responsible for the strategy, design, development, curation, and
delivery of multi-modal high-performance learning initiatives that
build learner capabilities, drive behavior change, and result in
differentiated performance results. In this role, you will enable a
culture of continuous learning through human-centered learning and
performance design. Key Responsibilities: Partner with Learning and
Development colleagues, end-users, stakeholders, and leaders to
design, develop, curate, and deliver impactful, fit-to-purpose
learning and development initiatives that achieve business outcomes
Anticipate and recommend opportunities to optimize learning
experiences with a particular emphasis on skill practice,
application, and immersion using a sophisticated set of tools and
techniques, including social/peer learning, simulation- and
scenario-based design, practice environments, intensive case
studies, game-based experiences, and academies Build learner
capabilities and drive behavioral change using a learner-centered
creative design process that involves conducting learner research,
co-creating with end-users, prototyping learning experiences that
achieve performance outcomes, and ensuring first-time quality at
speed and scale. Design and develop adaptive multi-modal learning
experiences that accelerate learner adoption through a focus on
moments that matter applications and activities that enable
performance-based outcomes, combining curated premium external
content and bespoke in-house content and experiences. Collaborate
on the development of assessments and learning measurement plans;
leveraging the outputs to inform learner journeys, and gather
learning insights in service to the maintenance and optimization of
learning experiences and the management of learning and performance
campaigns Serve as a member of dynamic, autonomous, matrixed teams
responsible for the end-to-end implementation of projects in a
fast-paced, challenging environment with multiple, contesting
priorities Expertly facilitate the delivery of learning
experiences, including in-person and virtual development sessions,
workshops, academies, cohorts, 1:1 coaching, and the moderation of
social forums, discussion boards, and informal learning
opportunities Enthusiastically drive design, development,
validation, user experience research, and playback sessions to
create the conditions for iterative learner-centered design Stay
current on research and practices in Learning & Development and
related fields, experimenting with new applications and processes
to optimize learning experiences and accelerate business outcomes
Serve as a mentor to design teammates, using modeling, feedback,
and coaching techniques within project work to ensure quality
outcomes and support internal talent development. Qualifications
Required in the Job: Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) in
Education, Organizational Psychology, Human Capital Management, or
related field preferred 5 years of proven experience designing,
developing, and curating learning and performance initiatives 2
years of proven experience developing adaptive and/or interactive
multi-modal, fit-to-purpose learning and performance solutions ;
experience with assessment design preferred Brinkerhoff Architect
Certification required within first 6 months Advanced understanding
of Learning Sciences, Instructional Design, Modern Learning
Experience Tools and Methodologies, and Performance Consultation
Demonstrated understanding successfully creating, maintaining, and
optimizing learning and performance experiences using Adobe
Captivate, Articulate Storyline and Rise, Vyond, Audacity, and
Adobe Creativity Cloud Proven experience successfully designing
immersive learning and performance experiences using techniques
such as simulations, role plays, practice scenarios, intensive case
studies, practice environments, games, academies, etc. Proven
experience successfully facilitating Design Thinking sessions and
workshops and/or User Experience research projects to develop
learning and performance strategies in partnership with end-users;
IBM Practitioner Badge Preferred Proficient understanding of the
Finance Services Industry Professional facilitation skills,
including a mastery of executive presence and the ability to
explain complex concepts to audiences with a variety of backgrounds
Adept verbal and written communication skills, including the
ability to moderate virtual formal and informal communication
channels like forums and message boards Proven ability to
collaborate with a wide variety of leaders, colleagues, and
stakeholders, employing diplomacy to achieve outcomes without
formal leadership Applied understanding of Systems Thinking, Root
Cause Analysis, and Problem-Solving Methodologies to recommend
learning solutions to performance challenges Proven ability to
successfully organize and manage multiple projects and processes in
a dynamic, matrix environment with a complex map of stakeholders
Proven ability to mentor and coach learning and performance
professionals without formal leadership responsibilities Proven
experience successfully leading in the strategic design of learning
and performance initiatives from initial ideation through delivery,
resulting in demonstrable impact to business goals Proven ability
to design and curate high-performing learning journeys Proven
ability to establish trusted partnerships with stakeholders and
leaders as a learning experience designer, employing objectivity
and learning sciences to influence leadership decisions and achieve
