Job Description:
Travel Nurse Across America (TNAA) is seeking a dedicated and
skilled Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse to join our team of
healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing top-notch
care and support across the country. As a Progressive Care Unit
Nurse, you will have the unique opportunity to work in varying
healthcare settings and utilize your skills in managing complex
conditions. Our commitment is to ensure that our nurses have the
support they need to succeed and grow in their professional
journey, no matter where it takes them. Monitor and provide patient
care in a progressive care unit setting. Assess patient condition,
administer medications, and maintain patient records. Operate
medical equipment and keep abreast of the latest technological
advancements in patient care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary
team to formulate individualized care plans. Educate patients and
their families on conditions and treatment plans. Ensure compliance
with all health and safety regulations. Strong clinical skills in a
hospital setting. Proficiency in using healthcare software and
systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Critical
thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to handle a
high-stress environment. Medical Insurance Current Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the United States. Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
preferred.
