Job Description DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and
compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our team in providing
exceptional digestive health care to patients in the vibrant city
of Chicago, IL. Job Description: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat
patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions,
including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel
syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and liver
diseases. Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies,
colonoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies. Provide comprehensive digestive
health management, including medication prescriptions, dietary
counseling, and lifestyle modifications. Manage patients with
chronic gastrointestinal conditions, including IBD and liver
diseases. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to
provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed
medical records. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in
gastroenterology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Gastroenterology Valid medical license in Illinois State Extensive
experience in diagnosing and treating various gastrointestinal
conditions Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures Strong
clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively
