Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Immediate Opening. We are
looking for an individual to work with a young adult male in a
strong mentor role. The individual we are looking for must have
excellent communication skills and empathy to work with a
struggling young adult that is not launching. Any experience in a
leadership role or as a counselor will be helpful. Familiarity with
addictions and treatment a plus. Must be able to support physical
fitness and a healthy eating program. This position will require
approximately 2 hours/day for up to 6 days per week. Work 15-20
hours per week with 29yo male as Peer/Mentor. Act as role model to
aid recovery, develop a healthy social network, involvement in
daily physical fitness, therapeutic and recreational activities.
Mentor must be empathetic and able to build trust, understand the
mentee perspective and be supportive (but effective). Will need to
help mentee problem solve regularly, analyze situations, evaluate
alternatives and find solutions. Looking for the right individual
to assist in goal setting, helping to create daily action plans
identify strengths and weaknesses along with strategies to manage.
Pay will range from $50-$75/hour for the right credentials and
experience. Bonus after 5-6 months, if successful. Send a resume
