Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise to support a Level 1
Trauma Center located near Naperville, IL. This contract role
offers a stable 40-hour workweek with a mid-shift schedule in an
advanced acute care setting. Nurses with at least two years of
recent experience in acute OR nursing will find this assignment
professionally fulfilling and challenging. Key Responsibilities:
Perform both scrub and circulate duties for a diverse surgical
caseload including Orthopedics, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology,
and General Surgery Adapt to a mandatory floating policy within the
healthcare system to support varying facility needs Provide
trauma-informed care in collaboration with surgical and
multidisciplinary teams Chart patient care activities accurately
using Cerner electronic medical records Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Registered Nurse license in good standing; local
candidates within 75 miles preferred Minimum 2 years of recent
acute care experience in Operating Room settings Level 1 Trauma
Center experience highly valued Strong surgical skills in scrub and
circulating roles Experience with Neurosurgery, Open
Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology
procedures is a plus Current BLS certification required Schedule
and Shift Details: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each: 2:30 PM 11:00
PM Weekend commitment every other weekend (2 weekends/month) One
mandatory 12-hour weekend shift monthly (either Saturday or Sunday,
7 AM 7 PM or 7 PM 7 AM) No weekday on-call required Flexible time
off policies with certain blackout days around holidays Location
