Registered Nurse (RN) | Acute Care Location: Janesville, WI Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,772 to $1,966 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title RN - Acute Care City/State: Janesville, Wisconsin Shift: Days, 07:00:00-19:00:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 02/12/2026 Job Description: We are seeking an experienced RN for our Skilled Nursing units. The candidate must have a current WI License and CPR. The traveler may be asked to float to other in-patient units due to census and will rotate scheduling between weekday and weekend shifts. Responsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act. Documents according to standards of care. Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction. Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, may include shared governance. Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care. Utilizes critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command. Requirements: Current WI License. CPR certification.
