interventional radiology Description: The position is for an
Interventional Radiology Technician. The shift is 5x8 DAYS from
07:00 to 15:30 with adjusted hours when on call. Call requirements
include every third or fourth weekend and one day a week, except
the fourth week which will require a full week of call. Only
on-call weekends are required. Holiday coverage is needed as
assigned. There is no floating requirement. Daily caseload per
technician is 10-15 cases. Two years of experience is required.
First-timers are accepted for this position. Candidates must live
at least 50 miles away from the facility. Pending state licenses
are accepted, but must be active by the start date. The role
necessitates an individual who can scrub cases and is familiar with
wires. Familiarity with vascular interventional radiology,
including endografts, neurovascular procedures, trauma, and body IR
is essential. The facility is involved in stroke thrombectomy
procedures. The environment involves working with a short-term
acute care facility with a total of 449 staffed beds. Charting is
done using Cerner. The daily patient census ranges from 10 to 20.
Additional unit information includes interdisciplinary support from
various teams. Preferred experience includes vascular and
neurovascular interventional radiology. Candidates should have
scrub experience. Essential skills include hemodynamic monitoring,
embolization, stent placement, and other interventional procedures.
The successful candidate will manage a sterile field and support
complex patient care needs. Candidates are expected to adhere to
conduct standards, with any misconduct leading to potential
