Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Wisconsin
Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
Evening/Night shifts, 8 or 12-hour options, 1900-0730, every other
weekend, holiday rotation required Highlights: Work at Wisconsin's
1 ranked hospital, a Magnet-designated Level 1 Trauma Center Float
opportunity across multiple critical care units including Neuro
ICU, Cardiac ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, and IMC/Progressive
Care Academic teaching environment with opportunities for
professional growth and development Epic EMR system utilized
facility-wide Approximately 28 hours of orientation provided 3:1
patient ratios for day and night shifts Requirements: Active
Wisconsin RN license or compact state license (must be in hand at
time of application) Minimum 2 years of acute care ICU experience
within the last 3 years Previous experience in a Level 1 Trauma
Center required Experience with multiple ICU settings including
Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery
Successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment Epic
EMR experience required, preferably within the last 12 months BLS
and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association ONLY
Basic arrhythmia experience required; must pass telemetry testing
with strict criteria prior to start TNCC and NIHSS certifications
preferred Experience with advanced critical care skills including
ECMO, IABP, Impella, CRRT, central lines, arterial lines,
vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and EVD management
Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from primary work site
