Work Schedule :90% FTE, Evening/Night shifts. The weekend rotation is 1 in 3 with a holiday rotation. Please take a minute to review this video of the Medical/Surgical and Short Stay unit.28-bed unit with a diverse medical/surgical patient population which provides nurses with the ability to utilize their expertise in assessment and intervention.Patients may be admitted with an expected short stay post operatively, for a medical condition or until they transition to a specific nursing unit.Patients are received from multiple services such as Emergency Department, Operative Services, interhospital transfers and direct admissions from clinics, or patient homes.All staff work together to ensure patients needs are being met in a timely and effective manner with high patient satisfaction results.Education :Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Work Experience :Minimum Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Healths Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit.Preferred Relevant RN ExperienceLicenses and Certifications :Minimum Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact.
