Overview: Wound Nurse Full Time 5 days Week / EOW)The Village at Victory Lakes / Lindenhurst, IL - -The Village at Victory Lakes, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who monitors each resident with pressure ulcers to ensure treatment and services are provided to promote healing and prevent infection. - Must have a current nurse license in the state of IL. -We love our Staff! - THAT'S WHY WE OFFER---

  • Full Time (5 Days Week / EOW)Location: The Village at Victory Lakes, 1055 E Grand Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046 -Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Wound Care
      • Maintains accurate treatment schedule, timely records of treatments administered, progress notes, and evaluations for skilled residents
      • Reviews all skin assessment of new residents.
      • Conduct weekly meetings with Wound Committee
      • Completes rounds with Wound Doctor every week and updates PCC
      • Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family.
      • Reports all suspected, alleged, or witness physical, sexual, or verbal abuse3 immediately to the DON and Administrator. -Required skills and qualifications:
        • Graduate from accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
        • Two years of long-term care experience.
        • Current nursing license for the state of IL.
        • Wound Care Certified, or willing to get within first 3 months of hire
        • CPR certified
        • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
