Job Description:
The Project Manager will be working on JOC projects around the
Chicagoland area. They will be overseeing multiple projects at a
time and will be working on municipal and school work. The Project
Manager is responsible for developing price proposals and
competitive bids with detailed breakdowns identifying material
quantities, equipment and labor costsClient DetailsMichael Page has

- Provide leadership and direction on commercial and federal
construction projects
- Monitor construction through administrative direction of
on-site and corporate staff to ensure project is built on schedule
and within budget
- Work with the Project team to develop a work plan, establish
priorities and assign tasks
- Coordinate the preparation of the schedule and long term
planning
- Implement, monitor, update and communicate the progress
schedule and its periodic revisions
- Manage financial aspects of contracts: review and approve
budgets, cost reports, rental equipment and expenses
- Perform the final review of internal items such as Cost
Analysis, Monthly Billing, Master Cost Breakdown and Monthly
Reports
- Manage subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination
with other trades and payments
- Create and maintain a safe/secure job site environment
- Review and approve drawings and samples prior to
submission
- Train and develop the Project team and schedule project
resourcesProfile
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a general
contractor or developer
- JOC experience is required
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering,
Architecture or a related field is preferred
- The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Strong track record with client relationships
- Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry,
masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire
protection, HVAC, and electrical
- Working knowledge of construction technology and details.
Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding
all construction documents including specifications and
drawings
- Excellent communication skills with various parties including
management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and
clients.Job Offer
- Base salary of $75,000 - $95,000, depending on experience
