Project Manager, Essendant Fulfillment Services
Scheduled Hours: 8am-5pm (Local Time)
Major Responsibilities:



  • Support all EFS projects from initial discovery to implementation


  • Attend customer calls, relay project needs, identifying resources and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and timeline.


  • Manage activity timelines for all EFS projects.


  • Working cross functionally through communicating project timetables and ensuring alignment/support of internal and external resources as required through detailed instructions for each group involved.


  • Participate in the development and implementation of EFS standard operating procedures to allow for effective communication on prioritizing customer opportunities while offering insight on project and overall EFS efficiencies.


  • Schedule pipeline cadence and cross functional workshop calls.


  • Develop and maintain process workflows, pipeline, ad-hoc reporting, and timeline tracking documents.


  • Assist in generating and delivering Quarterly Business Reviews.


  • Facilitate new account set-up tasks.


  • Develop and maintain database of key contacts for EFS customers and internal teams


  • Participate in marketing activities for EFS branding.


  • Understand and demonstrate Essendant's Core Values.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Skills/Knowledge Required:


    • Demonstrated strong business, analytical, organization, prioritization, and planning skills.


    • Experience in process improvement and SOP development and implementation.


    • Knowledge of supply chain & distribution industries


    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint


    • Professional verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.


    • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.


    • Analytical ability required to formulate information research strategies.


    • Must be flexible to perform under short time constraints to meet deadlines of requestors.


    • Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.


    • Experience with customer/supplier contract relationships - both internal and external.


    • Proven leadership skills, leading by the company vision and values and incorporating DELTA concepts.


      Education and Experience:


      • High school diploma or GED required - Bachelor's preferred


      • Ideal to have three years of project coordination or related experience required.
