Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Description: This is a full time direct hire position hybrid in Vernon Hills, IL.Responsibilities:

• IT management liaison to the business groups for SAP business systems related issues.
• Work closely with the Technology and Architecture Manager, to ensure technical infrastructure is maintained to adequately support the SAP Landscape.
• Identify customer needs, with a focus on the big picture; Identify technical or process solutions to meet those needs.
• Complete ROI analysis, jointly with the business team and Business Relationship Specialists, to determine feasibility of projects.
• Ensure both SAP and General Business best practices are followed.
• Evaluates requests for systems modifications; coach the Business Relationship Specialists to provide feedback to business team(s) on how to best meet the business need.
• Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity planning and testing.
• Management and coaching of Business Relationship Specialists, Salesforce Administrators, and ABAP/Web programmer related to SAP and related system activities.
• Responsibilities include new hires, work schedules, timekeeping, training and development of staff, performance management and evaluations, disciplinary actions including termination of employment, if required.Travel Requirements
  • Less than 10% travelESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
    • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent
    • 8+ years of SAP experience across multiple SAP modules.
    • 5+ years of Salesforce experience across multiple modules
    • 5+ years project management experience.
    • 8+ years working with specific business group applications, preferably in an ERP environment.
    • 3+ years working with web development technologies
    • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to use all resources available to resolve issues.
    • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.
    • Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms which are understandable to the business.
