MacLean-Fogg is a privately held enterprise headquartered in Mundelein, IL USA and is comprised of two primary businesses, MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions and MacLean Power Systems. MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions (MFCS) is a leading manufacturer of fastener components, engineered components and engineered plastics for automotive, heavy truck, and other diverse industries. MacLean Power Systems (MPS) is a leading manufacturer of products for electric utility, telecommunications and civil markets. Direct and oversee a team of quality assurance engineers for the manufacturing of fasteners in the automotive Industries. Job Duties - Implement strategies for ensuring that organizational products and processes meet established quality standards - Administer an organizational quality management system and monitor progress against strategic quality-related goals - Collect data that assists in the identification of potential quality failures, evaluate quality of raw materials or components, in-progress goods, processes or operations, and develop and implement corrective actions - Solicit internal and external feedback with the goal of continuously improving processes or products - Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately - Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.) - Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures - Perform other duties as assigned Experience and Education - Has extensive experience with the concepts and principles of the manufacturing of fasteners. - Lead and direct the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management and termination - Contribute to strategic planning, direction and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management - Establish departmental policies, practices and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization - Typically require a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience, including some prior management experience - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to develop and mentor others - Ability to build collaborative relationships - Problem/situation analysis - Analytical thinking skills - Judgement EOE-Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran
