Job Description100% Remote is Fine VATE Communication & Change
Manager Summary: Works collaboratively with VATE Program team to
develop a Change Management and Communication plans and execute
against them. This role will work across regions, functions and at
multiple levels of the organization to drive transformational, and
sustainable change. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and executing Organizational Change and
Communication activities for a successful global system
implementation that is sustainable Accountable for setting
Organizational Change and Communication strategy Drives creation of
project level change strategy, deliverables, tools, and timelines
Drives creation of strategy to sustain change objectives and
tracking metrics Oversees development of project change templates
and standards and coordinates their use on the project Maintains
and provides input to stakeholder management Develops leadership
alignment approach and manages leadership alignment activities
Works directly with project manager and core project team Builds
relationships with leadership and stakeholders Identifies and
prioritizes change-related issues and risks, defines action plans,
and leads mitigation techniques Creates change strategy, plan,
calendar, channels, and relative tracking documents Drives
communication planning and prioritization Owns communication
deliverables (i.e., articles, website, newsletter, and email
content, etc.) Develops unique messaging per stakeholder group
Provides review and editing assistance for meeting presentation
materials and summaries as needed Defines User Adoption metrics and
partners with leadership, project teams and users to drive
appropriate actions Deep knowledge and skills in the area of
organizational change management for IT Systems Consistent
production of superior deliverables Education and/or Experience:
Position requires a Bachelors degree in communications or proven
communication experience in global business. 5 7 Years experience
in internal communications for executive and broad audiences
inclusive of writing experience is required 5-7 years experience in
leading complex transformational change plans, strategies and
implementation of change tactics. Experience in project management
and work plan creation Experience of successful implementations
that have been sustainable Experience influencing and shaping
leadership decision making, ensuring leaders are committed to
goals, aligned with program plans, and mobilized to provide active
and visible sponsorship Track record of taking initiative and
building bridges between teams to drive results Ability to identify
and resolve conflict Ability to develop recommendations to
encourage synergy and alignment Ability to build understanding and
support of change activities throughout the organization Ability to
identify, manage, and champion areas of change resistance Deep
knowledge and experience in writing project-specific and
organization-wide communications Ability to effectively execute
communication deliverables from inception to distribution Ability
to clearly, concisely, and effectively communicate project
information to stakeholders Ability to work well independently as
well as with the team Ability to identify, manage, and champion
areas of change resistance Software: MS Word, MS Outlook, Excel
(pivot tables & reporting), PowerPoint (presentations), &
SharePoint (strongly preferred)
