Provide strategic and tactical direction for operational activities for all deposit products and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Drive service enhancements that will improve the member experience across payment channels and increase digital channel adoption. Will develop and maintain high quality standards and controls without compromising service levels. Provides leadership and team support to ensure effective delivery of products and services. Role and ResponsibilitiesDevelop strategic plans; define concrete, quantitative metrics, and goals. Define business unit roadmaps based on operational inefficiencies and service enhancements.Drive business unit initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that will deliver department efficiency, scale operations and expense reductions.Accountable for productivity, quality and member experience goals are achieved. -Play an active role in expanding digital capabilities; increase self-service and enhance money movement.Collaborates with key stakeholders, line of business leaders, and other channel managers to drive the Deposit Operations roadmap and ensure consistency across all channels.Implement and maintain controls to ensure quality excellence across payment channels and new member onboarding.Responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.Able to attract, develop and retain talent plus build a high performing operations team.Ensure department talent management objectives are achieved, development of organizational bench strength, and performance management processes.Provides leadership, conflict resolution, motivation, and promotes teamwork across all business units in achieving department and BCU goals.Manage negative and charge off share expenses. Manage agencies to increase recovery efforts and deposit charge off strategy.Manage operation cost center: conduct forecasts to manage expenses, payment volume and budget.Manage multiple vendors to adhere to SLAs, influence roadmaps and drive cost reduction.Collaborates with Information Technology to implement new technologies to improve business process and efficiency within Deposit Operations.Qualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equal in business or related field.Minimum 10 years of financial operations experience and 5+ years in financial services management.Effective communication, presentation and influencing skills to collaborate across business units and deliver on strategic objectives.Results oriented and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Strong leadership and process management skills.Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.Effective vendor management skills.Highly motivated, able to prioritize work and perform well in a high-volume environment.Proven ability to lead and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.BCU Shared Values.
