Job Description:

Job Summary: Defines critical business issues and opportunities, lead planning sessions, manage market and competitive research and conduct analyses and prepare business cases in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. Collaborates and leverage the full range of appropriate internal and external business and matrix partners to manage strategy development, implementation, operations, risks, and recommended next steps of the innovation. Responsible for executing qualitative and quantitative business analysis and presenting the key insights and actionable recommendations in a succinct and concise manner to all levels of organization. Analyze and synthesize various intelligence sources to track key industry developments (e.g. M&A activities, new business partnership, regulatory changes, etc.). Communicate key findings from the research in a professional and timely manner to drive consensus and influence business decisions. Execute assessment of new business/partnership opportunities, manage key stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore synergistic opportunities. Prepare on-going and ad-hoc documents and presentations for various internal governance processes, key stakeholder management, cross-functional collaborations, and other various business decision making processes. Manage a project as a business owner in a cross-functional team environment. Collaborates and leverage the full range of appropriate internal and external business and matrix partners to manage strategy development, implementation, operations, risks, and recommended next steps of the innovation. Job Responsibilities:

--- Manages the entire product/service from strategic planning to tactical activities; Manages development process from inception to completion including idea generation, concept development, customer needs analysis, market segmentation, market positioning, requirements gathering, business case development, business requirement documentation, technical requirements documentation, pricing, operations and commercialization (i.e., develops business plans based on sound insight into industry trends, government legislation, customer requests, sales win/loss and competitive pressure with comprehensive financial analysis of forecasts, investments and revenue based payback periods.
--- Implements a strategic & tactical plan of developing products and services that anticipate customer needs and attitudes and integrates opportunities that transition Walgreens into a global organization.
--- Develops business plans based on sound insight into industry trends, government legislation, customer requests, sales win/loss and competitive pressure with comprehensive financial analysis of forecasts, investments and revenue based payback periods.
--- Conducts and reviews primary and secondary market research applicable to assignments.
--- Assesses and manages risk throughout all aspects of the innovation solution implementation and operationalization and escalates as needed. Monitors progress, reports results/outcomes and makes adjustments as needed.
--- Analyzes potential partner relationships for the product and provide solid build vs. buy analysis.
--- Monitors and manages innovation performance goals (e.g., strategic, financial and operations), ensures planned business outcomes are achieved and adjusts innovations if necessary. Identifies opportunities to improve design execution, quality and cost to achieve planned outcomes.
--- Serve as a subject matter expert on respective innovations assisting with operational flow, technical process and any equipment requirements.
--- Assists with analyzing data and observations to identify opportunities for improving innovations and help prioritize suggested improvements, system enhancements and resolution of production issues.
--- Develops and ensures proper execution by other team members of innovative analytical and/or statistical methodologies and supporting complex tools for evaluating Company processes, business problems, and/or ROI of products and services. Leads the technical development of the largest most complex models and tools by developing, reviewing and approving methodologies to help resolve multifaceted business problems within the organization. Qualification:
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Business Development, New Production/Service Development, M&A or Finance function OR High School/GED + at least 5 years of experience leading the development, design, and/or commercialization of a product/service. Experience in developing and managing products/services using knowledge of marketplace applicable to B2B products and services within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. Experience with market research data collection methodologies, tabulation and reporting. Experience leading and collaborating cross-functionally in a matrix structure and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Experience developing and delivering marketing presentations to various audience levels (including senior management) within an organization. Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives). Experience with MS Office Suite. Experience in creating basic cost to benefit analyses. Willing to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Business, or Healthcare related field Consulting experience (strategy, planning, and business transformation) in a strategy consulting firm working with clients. Experience in one of the following: retail and/or healthcare. Experience in product Innovation and products and services planning and execution. Project management experience, including milestone development, activity management, team/stakeholder collaboration, and technical, business, and financial due diligence.
