About Baxter's IV Administration Sets and Vascular Access A broad portfolio of IV administration, secondary, extension, and specialty sets; and needle-free IV connectors designed to maximize operational efficiencies through standardization and allow focus on patient care to help deliver optimal outcomes. Critical Responsibilities Drive execution of new product development activities from exploration through launch Identify unmet needs, conduct market research, leverage customer insights to develop business cases, and define product requirements Develop comprehensive marketing plans including value proposition, messaging, key claims, customer segmentation and targeting, pricing strategy and evidence-based strategy Own commercial strategy with decision-making authority for assigned products Support successful product management throughout the product lifecycle, including product improvements, compliance, expansions, optimization, and discontinuation of products Lead geographic expansion of existing products to new markets Develop 5-year roadmap for assigned products, including geographic expansion, product improvements, line extensions, and new development opportunities Lead KOL relationships to help gain customer insights that would drive product penetration and feedback for new products Conduct sophisticated financial and data analyses to inform decisions regarding product achievement to financial plan and drive execution of new product development Develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Medical, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Market Access, and Regional/Country Marketing teams Passionate about Baxter's mission to save and sustain lives High-reaching and a self-starter; actively thinks about opportunities and how to get results Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to work in a dynamic, results-oriented, matrixed environment Ability to lead several projects simultaneously while collaborating across multiple functional areas and regions Strong ability to understand and analyze global market trends, financial data, customer needs, and competitive intelligence data Strong verbal and written communication skills Great teammate who strives to deliver organizational and team goals Ability to travel up to 20%, including some international travel Experience / Education Bachelor's degree required; MBA with Marketing major strongly preferred 8+ years of relevant professional work experience, including 5+ years of industry experience in medical device or pharmaceuticals required, e.g., Marketing, Strategy, etc. Proven track record of working effectively in a matrixed organization with a high degree of autonomy required Solid strategic planning abilities and business acumen required Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills required High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Tableau required All prospective employees for this job will be required to verify that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, subject to reasonable accommodations for individuals with medical conditions or religious beliefs that prevent vaccination, and in accordance with applicable law. #LI-NM1P Baxter is an equal opportunity employer.
