urgency and energy to their tasks. Northrop Grumman MissionSystems
is looking for you to join our team as an Industrial Engineer for
our EV2 programs at our Rolling Meadows, IL site (full time on-site
position). What you will get to do: This position involves
supporting EV2 production technology lines and requires a focus on
optimizing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include
enhancing production efficiency and developing metrics for the
production floor. Use Tableau for data visualization and reporting
on major metrics/KPIs to support decision-making across operations
and leadership Lead cross functional production metric reviews and
drive root cause analysis for issues Manage and analyze databases
to drive insights and continuous improvement activities (standard
work, 5S, storage optimization, and root cause analysis) to reduce
waste and improve labor efficiencies Maintain and update routings,
standards, lot sizing, and batching rules in SAP; collaborate with
materials planning to ensure accurate part master data Analyzes
lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and
throughput to meet customer demand efficiently. Develop optimized
scheduling that aligns SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan
given various capacity constraints Perform bottleneck analysis,
simulation modeling, and value stream mapping to optimize product
flow and critical paths through the factory Lead cost and inventory
control and reduction efforts; identify and implement inventory
levers and lot sizing strategies Establish or support training
programs for production operations to sustain process improvements
and standardized work The ideal candidate will have excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the proven
ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and
independently. Basic Qualifications for the Industrial Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing
Engineering, or related engineering degree. A minimum of 2 years of
relevant work experience in manufacturing/production improvement,
capacity planning, or industrial engineering roles Experience with
data visualizations and reporting U.S. Citizenship required The
ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is
required Preferred Qualifications for the Industrial Engineer:
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma
methodologies Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) or
equivalent continuous improvement certification Experience with
Minitab Statistical Software Experience with Microsoft Excel
(Formulas: VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, IF statements, pivot tables, pivot
charts etc.) At least 2 years of demonstrated experience leading

Level Salary Range: $79,600.00 - $119,400.00 The above salary range
represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers
a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the
scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime,
shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base
pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions
as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees
in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long
Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety
of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and
disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid
time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The
