Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Calibrate and verify measuring and test equipment in accordance with ISO quality standards. Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T symbols to validate part conformity. Generate detailed inspection reports for incoming, in-process, and final parts, documenting measurements and deviations. Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve dimensional discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Perform dimensional inspections using precision instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, calipers, and height gauges. Conduct NDT Level 2 MT, UT, and PT testing in the lab, ensuring parts are correct after manufacturing and upon arrival. Essential Skills Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T symbols. Skilled in using precision instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Experience with documentation review and control. Strong understanding of quality assurance, control, and inspection processes. Experience with ERP systems. Ability to read and understand blueprints and sketches. Proficient in heavy documentation tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
