Engineer Jupiter Power is an energy infrastructure company focused
on the development, construction, and operation of energy storage
assets in wholesale electricity markets. Formed in 2017, the

deployment,utilizingits proprietary dispatch optimization
applications to support both merchant and contracted structures.
Jupiter currently has approximately2200megawatt -hoursin
construction or operation and is developing approximately 14GW of
projects over 2025-2030. Jupiterseeksto hire a highly motivated and
experienced professional asaSeniorDevelopment Engineerin the EPC
Department.TheSeniorDevelopment Engineerwillsupportthe technical
evaluation, design, and execution of utility-scale energy storage
projects throughout North America. Key Responsibilities Negotiate
design and engineering standards with external counterparties
Coordinate with different teams (e.g.,development,origination,
construction) to ensure alignment with project goals
Identifypotential risks and develop mitigation strategies Serve as
liaison between project stakeholders, including clients,
contractors, and internal teams Facilitate meetings and resolve
conflicts or issues promptly Own relationship with third party
engineers of record; review detailed civil, structural, and
electrical engineering design packages, and ensure compliance
withJupiterstechnical specifications Conduct development site
visits to support site constructability evaluation, landowner
meetings,permittinghearings,and community outreach events
Participate inon- sitemeetingsinvolving counterpartiesandlocal
governmentbodies such as planning commissions, fire departments,and
others as needed Identifyareas for process improvement and
contribute to the optimization of workflows Apply lessons learned
from completed projects to improve future project outcomes Create
single-line diagrams and project general layouts for various
departments and projects with the use of AutoCAD Understanding the
capabilities and technical specifications of the equipment used in
project designs Demonstrate excellent communication skills with a
passion for public speaking and community engagement Lead
juniorengineers via best design principles and professional growth
Provenability to manage many projects from the early phases of the
permitting process to pre-construction Jupiter seeks individuals
eager to develop their core professional knowledge, learn new areas
of thebusinessand take onadditionalresponsibilities within Jupiters
dynamic team.Secondary responsibilities will be tailored to
individual candidate backgrounds as well as company priorities.
Requirements 2years in the energy industry, preferably working with
the development and operation of new facilities Bachelor'sdegree in
an engineeringfield, preferable Civil and Electrical Ability to
multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects at a time
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desire to work in
a dynamic environment alongside people with varied interests and
backgrounds Proficient in navigating AutoCAD Willingnessto travel,
as needed, to supportdevelopment,conferencesand training Preferred
Qualifications Master's degree in business, management, or
engineering Renewable energy experience Civil or Electrical
engineering field Civil 3D AutoCAD experience This role will be
based out of our Chicago, Illinois office and will be subject to
our return-to-office policy which currently requires
employeescomein 3 days per week. Compensation & Benefits $115,000 -
$130,000 Annually This pay range reflects the minimum and maximum
target salary for the position. Jupiter Power considers a number of
factors when determining starting compensation such as the position
requirements and the candidate's qualifications. In addition to
base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include
eligibility to participate in our bonus and equity programs.
