Job Description:
At Johnson Controls, a pioneering leader in smart building
technologies, we are seeking an experienced Ctrls Electrical
Installer IV to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial for
ensuring the highest standards of electrical installation within
our innovative building solutions, focusing on efficiency,
sustainability, and security. Our ideal candidate will be
extensively involved in handling complex installations and
providing technical support for building control systems in
alignment with our commitment to innovation and customer
satisfaction. Performing advanced installation, maintenance, and
troubleshooting of control systems including wiring, controllers,
and networking devices. Interpreting complex blueprints, diagrams,
and schematics to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and
specifications. Collaborating with project managers and engineers
to assess project needs and develop installation strategies.
Conducting system tests and calibration after installation to
ensure proper functioning and alignment with client requirements.
Providing detailed documentation and reports on installation
progress and any issues encountered. Training and mentoring junior
installers and technicians. Ensuring all safety protocols are
followed on-site to maintain a safe working environment. Expertise
in electrical installations and controls. Proficient in reading and
interpreting technical documents and blueprints. Strong knowledge
of building codes and safety regulations. Effective communication
and interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex
electrical systems. Proficient with hand and power tools used in
the electrical trade. Required: Licensed electrician. Preferred:
Certification in Building Automation Systems (BAS), Control Network
(BACnet), or similar.
