Product design owner and/or project lead for sustaining of Renal PD Disposable products and processes. Resolve difficult problems, from conception to final design with team input. Planning and managing project tasks from requirement development through verification and validation of user needs to the development of design outputs.

What you'll be doing

• With minimal guidance, schedules and leads a team through the planning and execution of a smaller project or defined piece of a larger project. This includes constructing detailed, accurate project schedules, interfacing with development groups and technical support groups.
• Lead engineering assignments which are typically a significant portion of a larger project.
• Select sound techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations.
• Assess results for application, validity and conformance to specifications.
• Recommend material and process specifications.
• Utilize engineering tools to solve problems, own and resolve non-conformances and support on market products (e.g., Risk Management, FMEA, Finite Element Analysis, Process Modeling, Design of Experiments, 3D modeling and rapid prototyping a plus, perform data analytics, Tableau, DMAIC, and SPC).
• Design Studies to evaluate and recommend techniques to improve existing products/processes.
• Manage Design History File (DHF) deliverables creating updating content.
• Devise new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Detailed oriented. Can manage dealing with ambiguity
• Supervises/coordinates an engineer and/or technicians on assigned work.
  What you'll bring
  
  • Bachelors Degree in engineering required
  • 5+ years of experience in industry, preferably regulated environment
  • Experience in CAD preferred
  • Project management experience desired, but not required
    We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $68,000 to $156,000, plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
