Description:--- Assist in providing field and record information to be used in the production of engineering drawings and reports.--- Assist engineering staff in the preparation of engineering designs and reports, related drawings, specifications, and construction projects estimates.--- Become proficient in office procedures i.e., timesheets, expense reports, etc.--- Understanding engineering terminology, surveying, and construction practices related to civil engineering.--- Responsible for following company CAD standards as outlined in the company CAD standard manual.--- Perform computer drafting on a regular basis to create final drawingsSkills:AutoCAD, CADD, Civil 3D, drafting, civil design, CAD standardTop Skills Details:AutoCADAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Required knowledge, education, and experience:--- Must have a high school diploma or GED.--- Possess basic CAD/drafting skills--- Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License.--- Utilize various engineering and word processing software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other programs used within your division.Required skills and abilities: --- Must be able to take direction, collaborate with other team members, have good interpersonal skills, and communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.--- Adapt to changing technologies and learn the functionality of new equipment and systems.--- Strong computer and mathematical skills--- Organizational skills and detail-oriented--- Sense of urgency to complete a projectExperience Level:Entry Level About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
