Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an
elementary school serving students in grades K-5. This contract
role offers a school-year assignment starting February 1 with the
potential for extension into the next academic year.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy to a
caseload of approximately 30 students, collaborating with educators
and support staff to create individualized plans, and supporting
student communication development. This role is essential in
helping children achieve their academic and social communication
goals. Key Qualifications and Experience: Certification and
licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with
elementary-aged children (K-5) Ability to manage a caseload of up
to 30 students effectively Strong communication and collaboration
skills Familiarity with school-based speech therapy best practices
Position Details: Location: Waukegan, IL Schedule: Full-time, 35.5
hours per week Contract duration: Current school year (CSY) with
possible extension for the following year Start date: February 1
