Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This position in a K-12
school setting located in Joliet, IL is seeking skilled
professionals with expertise in behavior intervention. The role
focuses on supporting students behavioral and educational needs
through applied behavior analysis and specialized behavior
strategies. Key Qualifications: Board Certified Behavior Analyst
(BCBA) certification required Experience working as a Behavior
Specialist within school environments, preferably K-12 Strong
understanding of behavioral assessment and intervention techniques
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators,
and families Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs)
and special education laws Responsibilities: Conduct functional
behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
Provide direct behavior therapy and support to students with
special needs Train and guide school staff on behavior management
strategies and data collection Collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams to ensure student progress and well-being Monitor and
document student progress regularly, adjusting plans as needed
Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with
stakeholders This is a contract position for the full school year
(CSY) within the A.E.R.O. Special Education Co-Op. The role
supports classrooms affiliated with the cooperative and requires
submission of certification documentation for consideration.

success. Compensation for this position ranges from $26.28 to
