The Associate Director, Marketing will lead the activities of the Vyepti team as it relates to setting and pulling-through consumer strategy including DTC campaigns online and potentially national broadcast television. This individual will also drive brand execution and performance as a leader across all consumer marketing work streams within the team, in collaboration with cross functional partners, and through his or her own projects. Consumer Marketing Strategy Leads development of brand consumer strategy utilizing sound marketing principles, analytics, and available market research Proactively considers/identifies new strategies and tactics, including virtual strategy and tactics, to challenge the team's thinking and raise the level of performance Proactively looks at brand performance and identifies areas of opportunity Consumer Marketing Execution Responsible for oversight of the consumer AOR and overall consumer agency coordination. Develops and deploys DTC campaign for Vyepti including online and possible national broadcast television Creates and draws actionable insights from consumer market research plan Works with peers, leadership, and finance to build and manage consumer brand budget Ensures all marketing projects are compliant and have obtained necessary approvals through the appropriate medical, legal, and regulatory process Cross-Functional Collaboration and Influence Leads the consumer brand planning process, including strategy and tactical planning, in collaboration with cross functional partners. Establishes key performance indicators through collaboration with cross functional partners and monitors progress. Partners with trade and distribution to ensure positive consumer experience with Vyepti HUB support Partners with Medical, Legal and Regulatory Affairs to communicate reasons for strategic and tactical plans and collaborates to successfully communicate brand information. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS: Accredited Bachelor's Degree 7+ years sales, marketing or other relevant commercial or analytical experience 4+ years Consumer Marketing experience within-- pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech or healthcare industries Experience and knowledge of US consumer market Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills along with an ability to influence both within and outside the organization Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong scientific/medical aptitude and experience Demonstrated ability to influence others and build consensus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, namely Word, Excel, and PowerPoint PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS: MBA or master's degree Direct to Consumer (DTC) Marketing experience People leadership experience with direct reports in pharma marketing, sales, or a related pharma commercial function Experience and knowledge within the area neurology Experience and knowledge of migraine Pharmaceutical sales and/or sales management experience Knowledge of the AMA, ACCME, PhRMA and FDA regulations associated with promotion and industry-supported scientific education activities TRAVEL Willingness/Ability to travel approximately 25% domestically.
