We are fully remote with the option to come into the office as desired and require our tax employees to come into the office at least twice/week during busy seasons. Top Reasons to Work with Us - 100 years in business without a merger or acquisition - Top 50 CPA firm - Mid-Size company with all the resources of a large firm - Family oriented culture and strong work/life balance - Competitive salaries and consistent bonuses - $105,000 - $125,000 DOE What You Will Be Doing - Prepare and review Tax returns - Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe - Build relationships and interact with clients to provide expertise through excellent planning and consulting - Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns - Identify and mitigate tax risks - Manage tax provision and tax compliance process - Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices - Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests - (Training of course will be provided) What You Need for this Position -3 years of previous experience in a large or mid-size public accounting firm. - General experience for C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships and other Flow-Through Entities -Strong technical knowledge and skills. -Problem solving and analytical skills. -Demonstrated ability to provide feedback to less experienced team members. -Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. -Proficient use of computer applications, such as MS Office and accounting software. -A strong knowledge of Firm products and services in the practice area and a working knowledge of products and services in other practice areas. -Strong tax accounting skills. -Strong knowledge of multistate sales tax. -Knowledge of corporate income tax preparation.
