company DNA.Sr. Financial Analyst:The Sr. Financial Analyst is a
highly visible and impactful role in the organization helping to
analyze, interpret, communicate, monitor, predict and drive
business results within the Protective Products Business Unit. This
individual will be a key player in the development and coordination
of the company's financial planning processes and systems, along
with the development of management and performance reporting. This
person will support the Director of FP&A of Pregis' Protective
Products business in preparing financial information and work
closely with budget owners to solicit timely and accurate inputs
for the planning cycle. The ideal candidate is an aggressive
self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented
environment and can prioritize, problem solve, and pivot
quickly.Responsibilities:--- Integrate and analyze sales and
manufacturing financial data for North American regions to support
and assist management decisions regarding allocation of resources,
capex, SG&A, and other business decisions.--- Lead the
analytics of the month-end closing process including investigating
any variances between the budget and the actual--- Own and drive
accuracy in the preparation of sales commission and customer
rebates by overhauling the current processes and setting up a new
system that allows for transparency and automation.--- Consolidate
and report monthly forecasts, annual budgets and strategic plans,
including related summary commentary and analysis--- Assist and
prepare consolidated financial presentation(s) on a monthly /
quarterly basis (i.e. monthly presentation, forecast presentation,
capital reporting)--- Addresses issues with appropriate teams to
develop plan of action. Identifies opportunities to improve
processes and practices. Works with business and functional teams
to develop consistent management reporting and processes.---
Provide financial analysis support to senior leadership on key
business components and market environment.--- Support the
commercial team with key customer reporting, pricing & margin
analysis, and commission/rebate detail.--- Complete complex
analysis leading to actionable insights that improve business
decision making, performance and business growth and assist in
execution of action plans.--- Leverage SAP by identifying and
driving reporting and process improvements and/or automation.---
Lead and assist in the continuous improvement, development,
modification and implementation of financial systems as
necessary.Experience Requirements:--- Bachelor's degree in Finance
or Accounting, MBA and/or--- CPA preferred--- 3 -5 years
progressive financial/accounting experience--- Strong accounting
analytical skills and communication skills--- Understanding of
budgeting process and operation expense departments--- Demonstrated
track record of analyzing large amounts of data and ability to
summarize it into reasonable and actionable information---
Proficiency in SAP preferred--- Proficiency in Excel--- Proficiency
in quickly and accurately modeling/presenting financial data in a
manner that communicates valuable information to management---
Experience in process improvements with quantifiable results to
measure effectiveness.--- Data analysis and tool experience
